The crow that mimics a cormorant is drowned.

I did “Boerbok man” and some others while I was studying.

I started working at a company that showed promise in giving me a lot of experience in creative work but in the end, it felt like it swallowed me and I felt like I was drowning. So “Boerbok man” I painted in a tribe of that feeling. I started to feel like the corporate world was mimicking nature, and humans started getting the personalities of animals. Hence the animal head on the human body.
